Duchess of Gloucester. Diamond daisy brooches Posted by Beth on November 11, 2018, 9:43 am At the Festival of Remembrance yesterday evening the Duchess of Gloucester wore what looks like 3 diamond daisy brooches joined by a fine chain. The only other occasion I have noticed these brooches was for the Asian women achievement awards in May 2015. Does anyone know more about this jewel? I am convinced it is a brooch (possibly previously used as a stomacher) as in the last photo it is clear that it is not a necklace, although the 3 daisies are linked by a fine chain.

We always with these items look back to Queen Mary for provenance but his mother Alice came from an extremely wealthy family. Perhaps a Buccleuh piece? Diamond daisy brooches" Beautiful pieces and outstanding on the Duchess. They look like pieces from a set of jewellery. The three daisies could be attached to a frame band and worn as a tiara, and I did think they could be a stomacher as well or a set of brooches. Regards, Dave.
