Queen Louise of Denmark Posted by OmerH on November 29, 2018, 1:38 am Hello Everyone!! Finally my first post here! (Thank You Beth) Do we know anything about this tiara worn by Queen Louise. The Danish royal website says it was painted in 1881. The shape reminds me of CP Mary's tiara bought at auction although I realise that piece has a much later construction date.

I am beginning to wonder if the tiara is not the result of artistic licence, the artist using elements of the emerald tiara as a basis while incorporating rubies to match the sash of the Order of St Catherine?
