Winged Tiara
Posted by Dave on December 6, 2018, 12:58 pm
I just came across this tiara and it reminded me of the discussions had on the other board regarding the ones worn by QA and QM of the UK and one passing into the Norwegian royal house hold. I wonder when will one reappear in the UK royal house? Please see picture below of the lady Mary Gwendoline, Lady Forwood, wearing the Forwood Tiara.

Many thanks Dave. I am ever hopeful that the one formerly worn by Queen Mary will resurface some day.
I have never seen the one worn by Lady Forwood before. I'm not sure that is meant to be one tiara. To my way of thinking the central element is not stylistically the same as the wing section. What do others think?
