Seasons Greetings Posted by Beth on December 25, 2018, 5:26 am Wishing everyone all the best for the festive season! Christmas morning dawned warm and sunny. For those who are in colder parts, perhaps the Queen's choice of brooch for her annual Christmas speech will bring some warmth.

As HM's ensemble has blue based pink showing, the central stone in this brooch is showing more purplish undertones. I would love to hear some official source give information about the stone. This is the first time I have felt that it is probably a pink sapphire.

Does anyone happen to get a court circular of the upcoming events such as state visits etc. Maybe we will see one or two surprises.
