I thought that I had a photo of Princess Margaret wearing this necklace in the very late 1940s but I cannot find it tonight. Perhaps it was one of the many items which were lost when I lost a computer where the photos were not backed up!! I'll see if I can find it. Does anyone has a copy of the image? It was a photo of QEII and the Duke of Edinburgh, Princess Margaret and others at a night club.

In this one Princess Margaret may be wearing her 5 strand necklace which was auctioned. Another necklace I suspect that this is also the 5 strand necklace which was auctioned.
