Thank you for the link Dave. It shows us how erroneous ideas get spread when articles are written by journalists who don't do any research. In this case it would appear that the author has just simply selected photos of individual royals and assumed that the ring sitting above a lady's wedding ring is the engagement ring!!!. Perhaps we should compile a list (with photos if possible) of the actual engagement rings.
