Orleans - French royal sapphires Posted by Beth on February 10, 2019, 6:14 am For any who have not yet seen them, Vincent Meylan has two posts on the sapphire parures which previously belonged to the Orleans family (Counts of Paris), and has untangled their histories. I think they are the most beautiful royal sapphires after the ones possessed by the Romanovs which became scattered between mostly the Romanian, and then least to British royal families.
