Re: What was sold
Posted by 992234177 I would so love to see the Russian Fringe Tiara with Pearls, such a beautiful variation on a classic. Also I have just noticed something. Some Russian tiaras almost seem as if they can be worn in two half’s. It might be the result of dealing with suspended diamonds that are en tremblant, but it is odd that they didn’t frame them as would be more conventional. Pink Diamond Kokoshnik Elizabeth Alexeievna Diamond Tiara Grand Duchess Elena Kokoshnik (not so obvious) Even the Lichtenstein Kokoshnik has a bit of a divisible look The Pearl Drop Tiara has a slight look of having been one half of one of these, except it’s too flat.
