Many thanks for drawing our attention to them. I know I shouldn't try to guess gemstones from photos, but here goes -- I think that the stud section is made with dark green agate and the drop from red coral. When I looked at the first photo I initially thought the stud section was onyx but, as a distinctive green hue can be seen in the second photo, I now think it is dark green agate. I wonder who might have made these earrings? I suspect it will be one of the Crown Princess' favourite Danish designers.

When I looked at what the event was, I have no doubt you are correct. My latest guess is that the earrings are resin to show what can be done without having a negative impact on our environment.
