Pre Wedding of Princess Sofia of Greece and Prince Juan Carlos de Bourbon Posted by Maria Olivia on April 23, 2019, 7:58 pm On 13/5/1962 This Pre Wedding Event at the Royal Palace of Greece was the very last jewels Event of lot of Royals as The King of Greece was still alive. Could someone enlarge the official picture of the Royals on the Staircase. Very interesting as a lot of jewels were sold since then . Thanks MO

There are so many images of the Ball, that I have been gathering pictures (over 90 now) in a folder for over 2 years, to feature in an article (set to come out next month)! Here are just a few (there is a whole thread of hundreds of images HERE, also a video)- (sorry, very hard to keep track of the sources, but if these are your images, please inform me so I can credit you)

It must have taken ages to find them all. Also an amazing collection of jewels on display. Its hard to imagine a similar show of jewels being given today from such a diverse selection of royalty.
