Born 200 years ago" The images of Queen Victoria wearing the Queen Caroline and Queen Anne pearls are flattering to her, and equally flattering to QEII, so they are a favourite.

Born 200 years ago" It's well known that Queen Victoria was short, but a photo of her mourning dress made after Prince Albert Victor's death in 1892 and currently on display at the Museum of London really puts her height - and the size of her jewellery! - into perspective.
