Duchess of Cambridge. Brooch at US State visit banquet Posted by Beth on June 4, 2019, 2:42 pm Most commentators are saying that the brooch the Duchess of Cambridge wore to secure her sash at the banquet held for the US State Visit is her acorn brooch which she has worn at least 3 times previously. I think that what she wore last night is a brooch which is new to me. I wish I could find an image where the details of the brooch were clear! What do others think? Comparisons.

Brooch at US State visit banquet" I think it is the acorn brooch and it's just the angle which is misleading. Yesterday's photo captured the brooch slightly from below. That's why the two acorns on the right side seem to overlap the leaf on top and the gaps between the leaves appear to be different. The large leaf second from bottom is apparently more convex than it seemed from other photos, hence the shape looks different from this angle and the gap between the two leaves larger. But even the third acorn on the left is visible on yesterday's photo.
