Hannah de Rothschild, Lady Rosebery's 5 strand pearl necklace

One of the gifts that Lord Rosebery gave his new wife for their marriage in March 1878 was a necklace composed of 5 strands of pearls with a large diamond clasp.
Unfortunately, there were no photos or sketches of any of the wedding gifts, nor have I seen images of Hannah de Rothschild wearing the pearls, although there are many press reports of her doing so.
After Hannah's death, the pearls were next worn by Dorothy Grosvenor wife of Hannah's son who at the time of the wedding in 1909 was styled Lord Dalmeny.
They were said by the press to have been a gift from Lord Rosebery and were worn by the bride on her wedding day.

The current Countess of Rosebery, her daughter, and former daughter-in-law are Patronesses of the Royal Caledonian Ball, and they are usually bejewelled for the occasion! I actually wrote two articles on the Rosebery Tiaras two years ago but haven't published them yet (I've been looking for an occasion but dates of births and marriages are really hard to find for this family), but I found some pictures of the Countess wearing what appears to be this necklace at the Caledonian Balla few years ago!
