List of loans to the Countess of Wessex from QEII Posted by Franck on July 10, 2019, 7:22 pm Dear all, Please find below my list of jewels loaned to the Countess of Wessex from QEII (I will change the list during the day) : Tiaras : - The diamond tiara worn for her wedding (last worn in june) - The five aquamarine tiara Demi-parures : - The diamond chandelier drop demi-parure ; - The diamond and gold cuff demi-parure (with on least one bracelet); Necklace : - The King Faisal necklace Earrings : - The Bahrain pearl drops ; - The Silver jubilee diamond and pearl earrings ; - The ruby floret earrings ; Brooch : The Multi-color brooch with citrines ; I would like to do a list of the jewels worn only once....I am sure these jewels come from the vault. She was on the cover of Majesty. The tiara featured a large oval Aquamarine at the front of the tiara. Not a pretty tiara imho. The tiara seemed to have pave set diamonds. I think that this was for the enthronement of Albert. I suspect that there is other jewels as well. Recent Scandinavian weddings would be a good start.

With all due respect to Mike's taste I find that the latter is one of my favourite, if not the favourite, modern tiaras there is. Sorry, I tried to attach pictures, but it didn't work. Sophie wore a beautiful aquamarine pendant in a chain to go with her tiara to the wedding of Carl Philip.
