QEQM Collect Necklaces Posted by Dave on July 17, 2019, 11:20 am At HM QE2's coronation her mother can be seen in the royal box with a triple diamond collect necklace of massive size and just absolutely shimmering. I gather that none of the three could have been the celebrated coronation necklace as this was on the present queen. So are these collects the same triple strand diamond necklace HM wears? It has been said that QEQM was gifted a large collect necklace by her husband for his coronation. QEQM has worn this collet necklace with her own coronation necklace. QEQM also had a long diamond sautoir. I may have to revisit which all diamond necklace is the most valued as was discussed in an earlier post. I now am feeling that maybe the all diamond top necklace may very well be found in the late QEQM,s collection. But I'm just going to post a picture of its maybe tie the Danish necklace. To me, and this post has directed me a little off this attitude, always found collet necklaces of honking great diamonds always very uninteresting, there's no real design appeal just big large diamonds in a row. I'd always though found PM's style more appealing as it was a simple design as opposed to an ostentatious one aka QEQM's necklaces. However the fact they are individual pieces with their own histories has pulled me out of my generic thought here! Thank you.
