Do you know when and where was sold this amazing brooch? It was during an auction of at least 777 lots... Despite its similarities, it is none of the couple of bow brooches of the French Crown Jewels and neither the copy of the Duchess of Newcastle: https://royal-magazin.de/england/newcastle/newcastle-diamond-bow-brooch-duchess.htm UPDATE: Another version with emeralds. Unfortunately, I did not find any other photos or information about that particular bow brooch. What did occur to me is that the photo might have been from a Christie's catalogue as, at one time, Christie's used a blue background. I hope that someone recognises the brooch, as I too would love to know more about it.

Wasn't there a brooch or pair of brooches of a similar design that came quietly onto the market which were identical to one(s) worn by Princess Alice, DoG?
