Duchess of Sutherland. Tiara identification Posted by Beth on August 13, 2019, 6:39 am The comment (below) published in the Sketch 29 November 1933 has me puzzled. Does anyone have ideas about which tiara this might be? There are photos of the Duchess wearing a diamond band to secure her tiara, but I would not call that tiara a winged one and, most importantly, this tiara had the diamond band from at least 1925.
