GD Vladimir and Elizabeth Taylor's Bulgari emeralds suite Posted by Alejandro E on August 16, 2019, 7:15 pm Hello everyone: Reading about the "path" of the emerald suite owned by GD Vladimir of Russia, I have read that some of the stones formerly owned by her ended in the emerald parure of Elizabeth Taylor (before Elizabeth Taylor, the owner of the stones was Barbara Hutton, who had them mounted in her famous diadem-necklace by Cartier). As the Bulgari necklace of Elizabeth Taylor was made in 1962 and Barbara Hutton sold her diadem-necklace to Van Cleef & Arpels in 1965, in which jewel(s) of Elizabeth Taylor's emerald suite were mounted the stones formerly owned by GD Vladimir and Barbara Hutton? I should have re-read your post before replying. To answer your question -- It does not seem (on the available information) that the necklace plus pendant/brooch or the earrings could contain any of the Vladimir/Hutton emeralds. That leaves the bracelet. So far I haven't found any information on it.
