An unexepected find on ebay italia:
Have we ever seen Princess Sofia wearing her mother's necklace-tiara?
According to the lot note this is a press photo taken in Naples in 1969, so long after Sofia's marriage to Juan Carlos, and just two years after the Greek Royal family was ousted from Greece.

Thanks Thomas for this find, congrats. However I did read that some of the Spanish jewels were sold between the revolutionary (Franco) years and even before then, but then it is a reality that royal families do have treasures hidden and unworn for years before debuting them again in public.

Given the style of Princess Sofia's gown and the outfits of people behind her, I'd say this picture was taken in the late 50s or early 60s rather than the late 60s, when fashion was much different!
