Grand duchess Louise of Baden Posted by Eirik on September 26, 2019, 7:32 pm I apologize if this has been discussed before, I recall seeing this picture on message boards earlier, but I can’t remember that the choker was discussed then. The picture is number 7 in this Instagram post: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bq8f-vTgmGs/?igshid=jddfnjklr51h Grand duchess Louise of Sweden was the mother of Queen Victoria of Sweden and several pieces of jewelry in the Swedish collection can be traced back to her. To my eyes the choker looks identical to the bracelet often worn by princess Lilian of Sweden and also worn by princess Madeleine of Sweden at her wedding. http://orderofsplendor.blogspot.com/2013/06/princess-madeleines-wedding-bride.html?m=1 On the picture of Louise we can see that the choker is fastened on fabric and that it doesn’t seem to go all around the neck, but that other pieces of jewelry are also used. What do others think?

While I saw the bracelet worn by Princess Madeline at her wedding, I had never seen the photos of the Grand Duchess wearing it as a choker before so, even though it was discussed by the Duke of Polignac earlier, I am so glad you raised the topic Eirik. There is always something new to learn!
