Queen Maxima is just extraordinary! Maybe she wore those gems because they are from Golconda?

In this set of photos the colour of the pink diamond seems clearer than in others I have seen. What a shame that Queen Maxima wasn't carrying a jewelled fan, but I suspect its purpose was functional rather than decorative.
Rose cut bandeau is a name for this tiara that's been around for a long time, but it is mistaken. The diamonds in the tiara are not rose cuts, but brilliants.
The diamonds Queen Max wears are really huge, but are kinda overpowering and too clunky in the present setting. Anyone knows the carat weight of the earrings, the lower stones? And I am sure that I have read about the former QM of the UK also dawning a bandeau of diamonds as a tiara. I think it was mentioned by our Beth on the other jewel board RJOTWMB. What has really caught my eye however is the First lady of India's emerald, diamond and gold suite. They are simple but outstanding, can anyone bring them up closer or enlarge them.
Regards,
Dave.
