Do you know what exhibition these were in? Or anything about the makers etc? The tiara is very high and elaborate for a modern item.

I cant say I am that pulled to them, they would have to grow on me. The much older jewels carry the sway and it says something about craftmanship of the old vs the new, and that is the older craftsmen were much better because their designs fits into whatever age or time they are worn. The tiara reminds me of the Dutch pearl and diamond one worn by the former Queen on her wedding day. Regards, Dave. Previous Message

Contrast say to some of the latest Chaumet tiaras, which in my view are an unattractive a mish mish of styles and stones. Although I do like their modern star tiara.
