Zinaida Skobelev Countesss of Beauharnais Duchess of Leuchten

I understand the Leuchtenberg Princely family are even wealthier than the British royals well it is claimed they are the wealthiest in Europe out of the royal families and control the largest private family bank in the world. What has not been really spoken of is their jewel collection. Below is a picture of a lady with some huge jewels, they are in direct comparison to the Egyptian/Turkish/ Ottoman ones spoken of by Janet. Can we have a forum on these huge tiaras?

Liechtenstein, Dave, not Leuchtenberg. And their jewellery collection is in fact rather modest given the princely family's enormous wealth. Their art collection – comprising mainly pieces from the early Renaissance to the Baroque (paintings, sculptures, furniture) – is exquisite though. You might be interested to have a look at the Liechtenstein Garden Palace in Vienna where large parts of the collection were exhibited until a couple of years ago.
The lady in your photo, Zeneďde Skobelev, was married to Eugen Maximilianovich, Prince (later 5th Duke) of Leuchtenberg, a descendant of Napoleon's first wife Josephine de Beauharnais.
