Old auction house catalogues Posted by Janet on November 23, 2019, 9:51 pm I love grand vintage jewels and I love perusing auction house catalogues. I have found a couple of old catalogues (there are actually hundreds which I am working my way through but most of them dont have pictures). At the link below are catalogues I have found which have glorious pictures. As we can see in the pictures, after WWI a large amount of important jewels were sold trough auction houses. I suppose most of the former owners of these jewels were Russian, as France was one of the places were most Russian emigres settled. King regards!
