(The one I used on the banner shows only the part of the bandeau which can be worn as a bracelet) Thank you so much Maridje!! I have only ever seen Edwina Mountbatten photographed wearing the jewel as a bracelet, although there are press reports of her having worn the bandeau to society functions. At the Cartier Exhibition in Canberra in 2018 the bandeau was in a free standing display cabinet which enabled us all to walk around the jewel and see how the joining mechanism works. And on the opposite side A closer view of the box clasp section. My understanding is that the bandeau is now in the V & A, but I cannot find it on the website. Does anyone know if it is indeed part of the V & A's collection?

I have been meaning to post some pictures from my trip to London. But it it’s been some very busy months lately so I have forgotten to check how I can post photos 😊

To post photos board members need initially to upload their photos to an image hosting facility. I use Photobucket, which now charges fees. If anyone is looking for a free image hosting site the following website provides a list of some such sites. https://beebom.com/best-photobucket-alternatives/ Each image hosting site has slightly different procedures for uploading images and then inserting them into boards such as this. In Photobucket there are different links for different purposes. Most of the other sites provide clear instructions. Imgur seems to be the first choice of the author of the site above. I know that a number of board members have used Postimage for a long time. Has anyone else got any advice they could share?
