The Yugoslavian Emerald Parure Posted by Sam (The Beau Monde) on January 2, 2020, 5:01 am Happy New Year All I'm currently writing an article on the Yugoslavian Emeralds and I was wondering if anyone had any information on what happened to the Diamond and Emerald Sautoir. I know the tiara ended up with Van Cleef & Arpels but I can't find any information on the Sautoir. Thanks Sam

According to tiara mania the tiara was sold in 1949. Re: The Yugoslavian Emerald Parure Sautoirs Posted by The Royal Watcher on January 4, 2020, 3:59 pm, in reply to "The Yugoslavian Emerald Parure" In my research on the Yugoslavian Emerald Parure, I found out that there were two necklaces that Queen Maria wore with the Tiara, the first (1) being the original necklace from Grand Duchess Ella, while the second (2) was a versatile and substantial emerald and diamond sautoir, which was worn in various configurations! https://royalwatcherblog.com/2017/03/12/yugoslavian-emerald-tiara/ (1) was last worn by Queen Alexandra in 1947 (2) was not publicly pictured after the 30s! I've never seen any mention of the fate of the necklaces, and it's quite likely that they were sold before or after the Tiara, or were broken up for the stones! Hopefully there are news reports that mention them somewhere!

The emeralds are truly in all sense Russian in taste and grandeur and what stood out as well are the round single stone diamond earrings, they are just huge. Regards, Dave.
