Lady Anne Wake-Walker Posted by OmerH on February 29, 2020, 11:54 pm Lady Anne Wake-Walker the paternal aunt of Diana Princess of Wales died a few days ago. Can anyone identify the tiara she wore at her wedding in 1944??

But which family? The Spencers? The Wake-Walkers? My guess would be that it is an unknown Spencer item. So far I haven't had time to see if Lady Anne was photographed wearing the jewel later.

I wondered if it might have been the tiara worn by Countess Cynthia at her wedding but, according to the media, Lady Cynthia Hamilton used orange blossom and greenery instead of a tiara. Lady Cynthia (Countess Spencer) on her wedding day in 1919.
