Imelda Marcos. Pearls Posted by Beth on March 9, 2020, 5:49 pm I was struck by the two pearl necklaces belonging to Imelda Marcos. For a visit to the Vatican in 1983 she wore Tahitian pearls. With each pearl set in a frame of diamonds, the necklace was not a subdued jewel. But even more flamboyant was her golden South Sea pearl suite. Even if these are cultured pearls, the pearls are very large and look free of major blemishes, making it a very valuable suite. Does anyone have any information on either the black or the golden pearls? What other pearls did she have?

Good ones are quite difficult to find regarding Mrs. Marcos' collection.
