QEII. Brooch ID?? Posted by Beth on March 12, 2020, 5:12 pm Can any one recognise the brooch or brooches (I think it is the latter) worn by QEII to a church service in Perthshire in October 1955? The caption said HM wore a sapphire brooch. I can see two items pinned to HM bodice and they look like a pair of brooches. The caption A closer, but very blurry look at the jewels

The golden flower clips have clusters of cushion-shaped sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds in their centres. The clips were bought seperatly in 1942 and 1945 by King George and Queen Elizabeth. Princess Margaret was given an identical set, but with ruby clusters. Princess Margeret sold her two clips.
