Posted by Franck on March 15, 2020, 3:11 am The Queen and other members of the Royal Family attended the Commonwealth Day observance service at Westminster Abbey. The Duchess of Cornwall wore a brooch featuring a diamond studded knot. I think that this brooch comes from Queen Alexandra worn as a hair pin. What do you think ? Very best regards, Franck

" What an intriguing find Franck! After I looked at Queen Alexandra's hair pins from various angles (and magnified the photo) I think that you are correct and that the lower hair pin is a match for the brooch worn by the Duchess. What a shame that the lower section of the hair pin is obscured by the Queen's hair! If only we could see that!
