Queen Mary. Is this a previously undiscussed bandeau? Posted by Beth on May 22, 2020, 5:05 pm This image of Queen Mary has caught my attention. I did the cutting some years ago and, at the time, assumed that the small bandeau was the base of the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland, but now I realise I was mistaken. As I took this cutting years ago, I have not noted where I initially found it; nor can I find any clues on a Google image search. Hi, I believe that this the base of the "Girls of Great Britain" which QE2 affectionately calls Grannys Tiara.
