Mary, Princess Royal, Countess of Harewood. Unknown tiara/head band

I stumbled across this photo of Princess Mary, Princess Royal and Countess of Harewood at a concert at Crewe House in November 1927.
She was wearing a tiara/headband which is unknown to me.
I haven't been able to find other photos (so far) or sites which have discussed this.
I think that the bandeau worn by the then Viscountess Lascelles is one of her mother's wedding gifts, the small pearl and diamond necklace presented by the rulers of Gondal.
As some had already noticed, this necklace may have provided the basis for the current Princess Royal's so-called Festoon Necklace, which was an 18th birthday present from her parents (in 1968), according to Leslie Field.
As her great-aunt Mary had died a few years earlier, in 1965, this could imply that the necklace had been in her possession.
The late Princess Royal had an extensive collection of jewels, which was dispersed in her later years and after her death. I suppose that the necklace had already been altered at the time (1927), as it seems more substantial than the original gift (the pearls would already have been replaced by diamonds).
Does anyone know when Princess Anne was first seen with the necklace?
By the way, this is the first time I see a picture of Cynthia Colville wearing a tiara and the badge of her office as woman of the bedchamber to Queen Mary (app. 1923). The illustration below comes from The Royal Family Orders Badges of Office Household Medals and Souvenirs (1951).
What a great eye you have Thomas! Congratulations! When I looked more carefully this morning I realised that the small pearls are discernible and, now that I am seeing the jewel with the benefit of your knowledge, I realise that there is no mistaking the distinctive loops.
Yesterday I found this description of the Princess Royal's jewels from that occasion.
We really should do a thread on the possible origins of Princess Anne's necklace. I think it was Franck who first mooted the idea of a connection between the Gondal necklace and Princess Anne's necklace.
And Lady Cynthia Colville deserves a thread. Her jewels are a mystery to me.
Queen Sirikit of Thaïland has a similar necklace as princess Anne's with rubis pendants instead of diamonds ! Comes from Köchert,Vienna
