Pink stone brooch Posted by J-F on July 25, 2020, 11:57 am Hi, I still wonder what is the origine of that pink sapphire/topaze brooch. Maybe this picture is the earliest photo showing Her Majesty wearing it ? I would say it was taken in the 90s . What do you think ? J-F

I think that you are correct and that it is the brooch in question -- I cannot imagine what else it might be. Because the pink stone has so much "brilliance" I have often wondered if it might be a pink spinel.
