Alba Tiara

Found this article about the Alba tiara, not sure what it means about emeralds versus rubies. Not sure how there can eight strawberry leaves rather than seven or nine.

Thanks 992234177.
The Google translation makes it difficult to be sure of what was said in the original, and sadly I have no Spanish to help me.
But, I think the writer was comparing the Alba emerald ducal crown to the one given by Franco to Queen Fabiola which must have originally had rubies.
I wonder if the reference to the different number of strawberry leaves is because the jewel can be worn in various versions, as a closed coronet or as an open tiara. Presumably the strawberry leaves, or at least some of them, are detachable and can be fixed at different points?
