Queen Suthida's Emerald Earrings - From Queen Sirikit? Posted by Al13 on October 7, 2020, 11:58 pm Hi all. Ever since the topic of Queen Suthida's jewels came up, I have been on the look-out on any other pieces that we can trace a connection to Queen Sirikit. Yesterday, I came across this photo of Queen Suthida at an event wearing emerald earrings. During Queen Sirikit's tenure as Queen Consort, she was pictured several times wearing similar earrings, such as in this photo. I am leaning towards these being a match, which opens up the possibility that Queen Suthida has received jewelry from Queen Sirikit. As far as I know, Thailand does not have a jewelry foundation or crown jewels specifically set aside for the Queen. However, I think we will need better photos of the earrings worn by Queen Suthida.

" I second OmerH's comments. Congratulations Al13! Because there is so little definitive information about the Thai royal jewels, it is almost impossible to know what jewels (if any) may have been designated for a Queen and what are personal items. But, I think this is the first time we have seen jewels worn by Queen Sirikit being used by another lady in the family.
