Sultanah Kalsom of Pahang Posted by Janet on October 11, 2020, 3:52 am Malaysia's answer to Queen Mary, she likes big jewels! As usual with Malaysian royal women, it is really difficult to find high quality pictures of her wearing jewels but there some decent quality pictures of Sultanah Kalsom which show off her jewels. This appears to be a Kokoshink type tiara but she wears it tinted back and combined with an awful lot of hair it is really difficult to appreciate.

I wonder what stones are in the necklace and earrings in the last photo? I very much doubt if they are rubies. What do others think? Thanks Janet for such a feast for the eyes!

They seem to be all personal property and not 'state' jewels, which are now worn by the current Queen of Pahang! This Pearl and Diamond Tiara (quite likely the Beauchamp Tiara) seems to be her grandest tiara, and while I've seen it worn a lot in Instagram stories posted by members of the family, there are few pictures of it online!
