Queen Suthida's Pearl Earrings Posted by Al13 on October 19, 2020, 12:18 am Hi all. I started a new thread because I wasn't sure of the identification of these pieces these time. I want the board's opinion. Do these earrings look similar? Could Queen Suthida be wearing another set of earrings from her MIL?

I was debating on these earrings that you posted myself, because the top part looked like a pearl in some photos while others seemed to show a diamond solitaire. But with these photos side by side, I think it's safe to say we have a match now. So far, there are three that have been identified on this board: - Emerald Drop Earrings - Pearl Earrings #1 - Pearl Earrings #2 Queen Suthida seems to stick to a 'uniform' when she appears in Court Functions, unlike her MIL who was quite adventurous with her fashion and jewelry during her reign. One thing I have noticed is that she prefers wearing jewelled hairpieces on the back of her chignon, but I am not sure if any of them come from Queen Sirikit. When Queen Suthida does wear grand jewels, she seems to prefer pearls, reserving diamonds and colored stones for rare occasions (although she has worn a ruby set and an emerald set on two separate occasions. The sets do not appear to come from Queen Sirikit). Because of this, it can be difficult to tell if her necklaces are new or not.

I think the earrings were redesigned, and is the same set she wore to the coronation.
