After doing some reading on Blenheim Palace in the UK. I read up on the wives of the 09th Duke of Marlborough and stumbled upon the picture of his second wife wearing a tiara I wonder if anyone else is familiar with. Please see below. It had been mooted that either the 09th or 10th Duke had sold off some of the family's fabled jewels but then they are reports that they were rebought/ reacquired by a later Duke. It was reported that this family had a collection of precious and semiprecious loose stones.
Hi, I believe this is Empress Alexandra Feodorovna's tiara, which is now in the possession of the government of the Philippines after being confiscated from Imelda Marcos. The tiara is still being kept in the Central bank. There has been talk of the government auctioning it, but so far nothing has come out yet.
