Wedding of the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Jewels worn Posted by Dave on February 8, 2021, 12:19 am First off, 'they are introducing the then Sophie Rhys-Jones at (17:24/25) minutes into the program, where she is wearing some red colored stone earrings. Do you guys think that they are genuine maybe rubies or spinels/ garnets? (02): At (23:23) minutes into the program, you can see by audio identification Andrew Lloyd Webber and his wife who wears I believe a fabulous necklace and earrings of rubies. (03): At (26:36) minutes into the program, you can see Tiggy Legge Burke, the former nanny to both Princes William and Henry. She is wearing a fabulous pearl and diamond clasped necklace and earrings. The diamond in the clasped seems to extremely large. (04): You will notice that with the arrival of the first foreign royals, 'the King of Brunei, at (30:56) minutes into the program, who I believe to be their escort/ courtier, maybe a lady in waiting to the BRF. She steps off the bus and has on a blue dress. Her pearl necklace with its clasped of a colored stone to the very back is also of note. Same lady then enters the church at (32:07) minutes, her brooch is also notable. I cannot really detect what the Brunei royal ladies are wearing due to their highly colorful frocks. (05): At (36:35) minutes, can anyone detect what brooch the PRPA is wearing? (06): At (1:33:47), you will see the brother of Sophie Rhys-Jones and I believe his other half, she wears a necklace, of what material, I cant confirm. (07): At (1:34:07) minutes you will see Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. Princess Michael's earrings does it for me here. (08): At (1:34:33) minutes, the late PRPM can be seen, could anyone id what looks like a pearl brooch? Watching this program was somewhat telling because when I watched it, it reminded me so much of the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, so I am sure they had taken some cues from their aunt and uncle's big day if you really go through the entirety of the film. The lesson was also focused on 'Love' the very catch word focused on at the Sussex's wedding. The video however is not in HD and they are some parts which are inaudible. Regards, Dave.

Not everyone has the time to watch the entire video so I am sure others, like me, appreciated the times you gave. Princess Margaret I have no idea about her brooch. I don't recollect seeing it previously. Princess Anne The brooch Princess Anne wore is, I believe, the bow brooch which Prince Charles is said to have given to her as a wedding present.. At the wedding, Detail Tiggy Legge Bourke At the wedding I suspect that this striking choker may be a family piece as her sister has also been seen wearing it on occasion. Princess Michael wore quite a few of her sapphire jewels along with the earrings she wore at her own wedding. While not so visible on the video here are a few more ladies from the wedding. The duchess of Gloucester wore Queen Mary's Pearl Choker. While the Queen Mother chose this sapphire wedding gift brooch for her grandson's wedding.

Some IDs" Princess Michael wore quite a few heirloom jewels at the Wedding, including Princess Marina's Diamond Circle Earrings, Princess Marina's Pansy Brooch as the centrepiece of her necklace, and the two clasps of her bracelet are also versatile brooches/pendants. Here is a picture of Princess Michael wearing the star sapphire bracelet on her necklace. Incidentally, Lady Gabriella wore the same star sapphire earrings, with a pearl pendant, at the Royal Wedding in 1999.

Some IDs" Not only did the Duchess of Gloucester wear Queen Mary’s 11-row Pearl Choker, but the wedding was one of the few times that her daughters wore heirloom jewels. Lady Davinia wore Queen Mary's turquoise and diamond fringe necklace while Lady Rose wore a section from Princess Alice's Diamond Sautoir.

I am so intrigued by the dress code at the wedding, which was not the day dress and hat dress code of usual British weddings, but instead had many ladies wearing evening gowns and jewels, while others, like the Queen and Queen Mother, wore something more resembling day or cocktail dress. I have a feeling Prince Edward may have wanted something resembling the white tie weddings of the Scandinavian Royals, but this was the closest British royal convention allowed. It only goes to show what one can find if they go over old pictures and films of royal events. The necklace is very intriguing one Sarah Chatto wears and I can say I have never seen it before and maybe if I did I would have believed to be the said Teck Circle Necklace. If we could get a full facing picture of it that would be even better. The flower brooch the late PR wears is also outstanding. Regards, Dave.
