Queen Mary. City of London choker and Ladies of Sussex bracelet Posted by Beth on March 1, 2021, 2:51 pm I recently stumbled on this set of drawings showing some of Queen Mary's wedding gifts. Three things interested me: 1. The sketch of the choker is the clearest indication I have seen that the gift was the choker I identified some years ago. 2. That the choker could also be worn as a tiara. 3. I have never seen a sketch of the bracelet given by the Ladies of Sussex before. I think we have seen it worn in a number of photos of Queen Mary. I think Queen Mary might be wearing the bracelet in this photo.
