Radziwill Tiara at Chaumet Posted by The Royal Watcher on March 27, 2021, 3:10 am It appears Chaumet has acquired the Radziwiłł Tiara sold at Auction in Chicago last year! It was among the Tiaras displayed for Victoria Romanovna Bettarini as she picked the Tiara for her Wedding to Grand Duke George of Russia later this year. There are quite a few familiar pieces that were presented! They include the legendary Chaumet Bourbon-Parma Tiara... The Chaumet Talhouët Tiara once worn by Queen Noor of Jordan. The Pearl Tiara that was worn by the Countess of Paris As well as this Lily Tiara worn by Princess Maria Carolina of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Castro, at ‘le Bal des Débutantes’ in Paris in 2019!

The variety of tiaras offered to the bride to be is interesting. Either the diamonds have been replaced in the Radziwill tiara or this is a totally separate tiara. If this was the Radziwill tiara I would expect to see more metal work in the pear shaped elements at the top of the tiara. In the tiara seen at Chaumet, there is no metal work and I doubt if there is a border of diamonds around the upright pear shaped elements. In the Radziwill tiara there would have been metal work visible.
