When Empress Charlotte of Mexico passed away the Starry Cross was given back. Empress Zita , the then Grand Mistress loan it to Archduchess Regina who put it on her Wedding Dress. Empress Charlotte Starry Cross with black Ribon was sold at Dorotheum 161.900 euros in 2019.

She wore it at Prince Leka of Albania Wedding. She never received the family Order or a Sash from Queen Elisabeth II . There are portraits and photographs of Empress Carlota wearing her Starry Cross and her bow is way more “artistic” than the one worn by Archduchess Regina.
