Ruby brooches and Field Posted by Franck on July 13, 2021, 4:22 pm We all know that QEII received 6 ruby brooches since her wedding (it is written in Field). I have made the following list : - the Flower of Bristol brooch given in 1957 (Beth) ; - The Modern Ruby Brooch with its arched design. - The Grima Ruby Brooch from Prince P. - A ruby and diamond dhow brooch from the Amir of Bahrain Do you know if she was offered other ruby brooches since her wedding in 1947 (except the brooches left by her mother). 2 lacks. I know you used the word "since" in relation to QEII's wedding but could Field have also referred to QEII's wedding gifts, one of which was this brooch? Otherwise, I am at a bit of a loss. There is also this one which the Queen's Jewel Vault site refers to as the Ruby and Gold Flower brooch.
