Writing a Book - Questions Posted by Sam (The Beau Monde) on July 14, 2021, 2:38 am Hey guys, Hope we are all keeping safe and well. I have some questions that sort of relates to jewellery history. Basically, I'd really like to write one of those glossy coffee table books on the Grimaldi's and their jewels. I know I'd have to gain access to Cartier, Van Cleef and the Monegasque archives (not to mention improve my technical French fast ) Has anyone ever done anything like this before? Like a non journalist, if so where did you start? Thanks Sam

Judging from the secrecy associated with Royal Houses especially relating to their jewel assets as that kind of digging does or can cause anger and virtue politics in this present world system I'm unsure as to if you can achieve your goal. I believe it may be best to have a kind of tv documentary on the specific jewels and family you wish to look into.
