Kammerlieferant (Purveyor to the Imperial and Royal Chamber) in Vienna, in its original case. Franz Ignaz Fischmeister, who managed the company at the turn of the century, not only collaborated with the Vienna Secession, but also with René Lalique.

Could it be worn anno 2021? I can see the Queen of Denmark wearing it!! Queen Margrethe would certainly appreciate the craftsmanship, but whoever wears the tiara today would probably have to have a new tiara frame made. As is often the case with tiaras from this period, this one too is relatively short and rather high, which does not go well with today’s hairstyles. The frame further exacerbates this.
