The Belgian sapphire suite complements Queen Camilla but due to her bouffant hairstyle it should have been raised in height say on a set of single chain link old cut European diamonds. It kind of gets lost in her hair. The Queen consort head and hair is suited to bigger tiaras. I gather that the dark sapphires still signals a British Royal Court in mourning. Those sapphire earrings are rocking it' they seem to be designed to carry larger sapphires or diamonds at the top as well. The British Royal vaults are deep. Regards, Dave. I have enjoyed your post enormously. The sapphire tiara suits Queen Camilla, I had to take a second look at the necklace initially, as QEII so very rarely wore it without the pendant. I suspect that, in contrast to QEII, Queen Camilla may not favour pendants on necklaces, but time will tell.

At first glance, I thought the necklace might have been shortened. But I think this impression is due to the fact that the necklace is worn without its usual pendant. A little annoyance however, the necklace appears to have slipped a bit to the side, so the larger central sapphire stone is not centered at front. This creates a less aesthetic sight in my opinion. Very nice modern earrings. They blend quite well with the rest of the adornment, despite the darker hue of the stones adorning the earrings. J-F

Probelm is probably that her neck is not as slim as that of her mother-in-law, Who in addition had the necklace shortened like she did with most of her necklaces. She has a Queen's jewels collection, comparable to some actual reigning Queens. She is also very regal and wears jewelry well. J-F
