Queen Elizabeth II 400th Anniversary of the Armada Brooch Posted by Crowne on May 4, 2024, 5:55 pm Joye over on the Royal Jewels of the World Message Board mentioned this brooch that I hadn't heard of before. I found an interesting article on it with phots, and as I can't post on that site I'll post it here: https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/news/plymouth-news/jeweller-recalls-day-plymouth-gave-7594286 I'm amazed that I haven't seen the pictures of QEII wearing it before. I quite like the brooch, the ship is charming, but I think I would have preferred it without the two dolphins and the chains. It's a shame it doesn't appear to have been worn again.
