Tiaras at the Wedding of Princess Afzan of Pahang Posted by The Royal Watcher on August 26, 2024, 10:59 am Princess Afzan wore Queen Azizah’s Aquamarine Tiara, as well as her Johor-inspired Diamond Necklace for her ‘Istiadat Bersanding' Ceremony at the Istana Abdulaziz in Kuantan. Queen Azizah wore her Modern Diamond Fringe Necklace, a gift from the mother of the Emir of Abu Dhabi. Tengku Puteri (Princess) Afzan of Pahang wore a Diamond Tiara belonging to Queen Azizah, as well as several Emerald and Diamond Necklaces and a couple of Diamond Brooches as she married Fateh Idzham bin Fateh Iskandar in a Akad Nikah Ceremony at the Istana Abdulaziz in Kuantan. Princess Afzan wore a new Diamond Tiara as well as a Sapphire and Diamond Necklace and another Diamond Necklace belonging to Queen Azizah for the Istiadat Berinai Ceremony. Queen Azizah told me that she had the Tiara was created from an antique necklace, while the diamond necklace comes from her mother, and the sapphire and diamond necklace is from her mother-in-law.

The bride looked absolutely magnificent and the bride's mother really showed off that fringe necklace on the last day! Also thank you for sharing some more information about the jewels worn. Hopefully that will make people appreciate more the fabulous collections in Malaysia by adding some more history to the pieces thereby creating some better understanding and even connection with them.
