The cost for the appetizer plus the two entrees and dessert will be 500 pesos. Drinks sold separately. Reservations not required, but please arrive by 5:30 p.m. if you don’t have a reservation.

If you “hear something through the grapevine” about a private party, please don’t bother to waste Mateo’s time by showing up and telling him you’re not interested after he says there is no private party.

LATEST RUMORS ABOUT MATEO
Please feel free to make this post from this 1993 version of the internet go viral considering one no longer needs to post a 23-digit code to publish something. The latest rumor had Crocodile Bar and Cabanas closing before the end of the high season. Considering previous rumors had this “limited-menu, 2-star restaurant” closing at the end of January, you should not fret because we’ll be open until the summer.

RESERVATIONS
For Tuesdays, the latest one may make a reservation is 5 p.m.
For Thursdays and Fridays, the latest would be 5:30 p.m.
For Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, the latest would be 5:50 p.m.*
Wednesday, Feb. 14 would be 5:30 p.m.
Everyone in the party needs to respect the reservation time. You have a 9-minute grace period. After that, your table and/or seats will go to other folks who didn’t make a reservation.
Reservations only allowed six days in advance of the event.

HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION
*Send Mateo a text using WhatsApp
*Call Mateo, but not using WhatsApp
*Stop by the bar–during bar hours–and ask for Mateo, Cristal or Belen. Pro tip: The bar is not open before noon. Before noon, you might want to try to find Mateo howling at the Oxxo sign.
* Ask a carrier pigeon to send Mateo your reservation, but only in morse code.
