That’s an interesting phrase, Bonnie. The town ‘getting richer’.
I certainly hope the people of this town are doing better than they were 40 years ago, and a big part of that is due to us foreigners. ‘Rich’ is such a complex word and one must be careful how they use it, wouldn’t you agree? Don’t you want to see your neighbours and friends here doing well?
